On more than 200 pages, volume 6 once again contains emotionally moving reports, diaries and photos of contemporary witnesses who experienced the last months of the war and the first years of peace as children and young people. The texts and photos report, among other things, on the atrocities in the Ravensbrück concentration camp, but also on the suffering of the population, on rape, hunger and diseases as well as adventurous escapes towards the West.
