A lot has already been organised, but also thought about and weighed up. Now, unfortunately, it is certain: The 55th football boys' tournament of the Nordkurier Mediengruppe, which was to take place on 8 January 2022 in Neubrandenburg's Jahnsportforum, has been cancelled. "We did not make it easy for ourselves and hoped until the very end that we would be able to hold this event even under the special challenges of the Corona period - however, too many reasons speak against it at this point in time," explained Deputy Editor-in-Chief Marion Richardt. Rapidly increasing incidence figures and many restrictions for the athletes and visitors have unfortunately made this decision necessary, to the regret of many athletes and sports fans, but also of the organising team.
The football tournament will return with a bang in January 2023 - we, for one, are already looking forward to it!
